Inside Oxford Brookes University: Bringing staff learning to life
Join Oxford Brookes University for a behind-the-scenes look at how Staff Learning supports people, learning and development across the university.

In this practical session, Jenine Macey MCIPD, Head of Learning and Development at Oxford Brookes University, will share how the university has developed its approach over time – from supporting mandatory learning across a diverse workforce and achieving close to 95% compliance, to enabling academic development, research, health and safety, apprenticeships and more.
You’ll hear how a small central team manages learning for different groups across the university, reduces manual administration, gives other teams greater ownership and uses automation and self-service to make learning easier to manage.
Jenine will also share some of the practical ideas and solutions the team has developed along the way, giving you a chance to see what staff learning looks like in practice at Oxford Brookes and take away ideas you can apply in your own organisation.
