Eleven Totara Partners have been welcomed into the UK Government’s G-Cloud 11 digital marketplace.
G-Cloud is the UK Government’s digital marketplace which provides public sector organisations with a simplified purchasing process for cloud-based services. It allows public sector purchasing teams to access 4,200 suppliers and aims to help the UK government make their procurement more transparent.
Any public sector organisation, including central government, local councils, NHS Trusts and any other public sector bodies, can obtain services via G-Cloud’s procurement framework without going out to tender, helping them save both time and resources by giving them a one-stop shop for recommended vendors.
Since its inception the G-Cloud framework has facilitated £4.79bn of sales, according to CCS, with 45 percent of this going to SMB suppliers.
Buyers can use the platform to highlight a shortlist of preferred suppliers, after which the suppliers will be asked questions or to provide a demo to help the buying organisation make their final choice. G-Cloud promotes transparent pricing for easy comparison of solutions.
The 11 Totara Partners whose services are available in G-Cloud 11 are:
“We’ve worked extensively with government institutions over the past few years, and we’re very excited to have been accepted into the G-Cloud portal so that we can share this expertise with the UK Government marketplace,” said Brian Carlson, CEO & Co-Founder of eThink Education. “We look forward to showing organisations how easy it can be to provide effective digital workplace learning with the right combination of platform, content and a service-focused partner.”
“We’re so proud to have been approved once again. We understand that procuring digital learning services can be a daunting prospect; being on G-Cloud helps us simplify the purchasing process, enabling buyers to focus on the improvement of learning outcomes.” – Mandi Phillips, National Account Director at Learning Nexus
Totara has several public sector clients including Student Loans Company, St Helens Council, Ofsted and The Courts Service of Ireland but the introduction of G-Cloud 11 should make it even easier for prospective customers to find the Totara services they require.
